You will get it … eventually… it takes a while but there is really no such thing as “late” in the islands … even as far north as the Bahamas … I lived in. Razing for a few years and even there it is casual … I understood it and learned to live with it but I never got into their groove .. what was the island saying ..”relax mon” .. enjoy ..love your stuff

We spent 5 months living in Guadeloupe winter 2018/2019. In that time we visited Dominica, Martinique (even staying in Anse-Noire!) and spent quite a bit of time in Les Saintes and snorkelled around pigeon island so this entire video bings back a lot of memories and makes me realise how much I miss it around there 😭

Wow!! The colors you are getting in your videos is so beautiful. What a day you had with the hike and then an overnight sail in the same day. New found confidence? Stunning amounts of sea life. How would you compare that to the Mediterranean? Your dream coming to fruition. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Steve! Yeah we went for it after the hike (mainly because the anchorage was really rolly so it was either leave that evening or have a sleepless night!) The sea life is a whole other ball game in the Caribbean compared to the Mediterranean. We love the Med but it just doesn't compare. But then the Caribbean has nothing on Polynesia apparently when it comes to sealife!
