Wow! Chad, your skill with metal and fitting AMAZES me every time I see you do it! I could not see why you wanted to “change” the rear roof line - but - today - I can see what your mind saw demanded the change. You are lucky you live where you do - as where I live - in order to get a license for the car (to assure the safety of the other drivers who you will be sharing the public roadways with) it would be classified as “Custom make” and would need to pass a safety inspection prior to being allowed to be issued plates (and you can’t drive without them). From past experience - I know that the area of “glass” and the “safety rating” of the glass in the car - are an important part of that inspection.

Hi Chad. You can tell you are a Maritimer. You have a great sense of humour and seem to be a great guy to boot. I love the way you tackle the problems you encounter on your KZbin Show. Keep em' coming, you have a big fan here. By the way, if I had a show with a camera gal as beautiful as Jolene, I'd record everyday also. LOL From a fellow Maritimer, Keep up the great work and content, I love it!!

I really like this car. You were talking about windows the other day. Have you ever watched Halfass Kustoms? In one of his recent videos he used a new type of angle grinder disc that allows you to shave glass. It actually works and he got good results on the glass he was cutting. Could be another good tool for your workshop.

I was rooting for that rectangular back window - I knew it would look great, and it really does!!! I had been thinking that a faux convertible, or padded 'Carson Top' look would be cool, but with those awesome stainless trim pieces above the side windows, I'm now thinking just a painted roof might be best.

And good for you bro, who cares how you pronounce something I know I say things wrong sometimes too and ignore the word police. Yes this is master Chads comfort zone. 4O 80 prime. Let’s go!! I hope Chad takes his time and does a nice custom paint job. Those solid colors were OK but this car should be special if he really intends to drive it. What a beauty
@brianlawrence88673 жыл бұрын
@@i8ntnuts agree. Good to see him "slow" down a fraction this episode and enjoy the moment. Chad has a brain that has trouble switching off and there is no harm in that . I love analysing his body language along with all his fabrication work etc. I cringe sometimes but Chad is already 2 steps ahead of everyone. It's his party and he will cry if he wants to. It's Friday in Perth Western Australia 🇦🇺

At first I though don't do it, I like the clear window look, after I saw the metal continue down towards the trunk I saw your vision as well and your right it does clearly look much better. Nice Job Chad, definitely looks sharp and matches the car much better just as you said. You nail it bud, you nailed it, right on the bullseye.

@spikejones27763 жыл бұрын
I always enjoy the content , thank you. The reason racing sanctioning bodies won't allow acrylic plexiglass windows is because they shatter relatively easily and in large jagged sharp pieces . The correct material is polycarbonate but the material cost is double or more sometimes forming temp is a little higher as well.
