Sail Tie Knot

This video explains how to tie a sail tie knot & demonstrates a couple uses onboard a sailboat.
The sail tie knot is quick and easy to learn. Sailors primarily use it for tying down the mainsail, but it can also be used for securing halyards to the mast, lashing down a roller furling jib, and immobilizing stowaways for short periods of time.
