GOD it's been more then 2 years since I'm watching you guys, having the same dream, and i'm still sitting behind my computer sheesh. I really love watching you, the way you document your life seems so real, like a camera droid is following you and filming. (on a positive note I'm going to have a basic sea-sailing course of 6 days in a row, sleeping eating cooking cleaning sailing and sailing theory all on the boat, i hope i like it as much as i hope)

nah I am the same, but it is a lot safer from our couches, and we take our boats out in the weekend on some safe lakes and pretend it is the big sea's they are on. Well I do.

Pro tip. Bring some Melatonin for sleep. When you're not on watch you need sleep/rest. Great way to calm the mind to sleep if it starts to wander at sea.

Great to see ya again, albeit on line. After 28 months we have left Vancouver and returned to our boat in Fiji 🇫🇯, getting back to our home feels so wonderful. Fortunately I had boat sitters aboard that cared for my Lagoon 400S2 like they owned it. It’s great to be sleeping back on the water. The life aquatic is hard but worth it, preaching to the choir, I know. See ya back on the Island non to soon. Scott and Kat

So happy to see the fishing gear out and dusted off! Yay for mahi mahi. Sorry about the tummy troubles. Just a note that fellow youtubers Sailing Yacht Florence may have worked through a similar route to yours in the past months and recently uploaded their Cape of Storms vlogs as they rounded the tip of South Africa. Sailing Zatara a few weeks behind Florence and also think stopped at the Maldives. Possibly some practical info and experience in both channels' vlogs that may assist or settle any nerves. Always good to know you aren't alone and others have sailed on through. Good sailing! ps the frosty the snowman bday cake was incredible :)

Well done Ben and Ash, Kids are having a great time. I see a lot of people making comments on it being unsafe for toddlers, as if you as parents can't watch out for your kids. All kids have dangers, that's what being a parent is, showing and teaching your kids to be safe in their environment. Kids on land have car wrecks, and bike accidents, the most dangerous thing to any toddler is choking Hazzard,s balloons, and food. watch out for those killer grapes and hotdogs swimming in the ocean. If you can pick up a small hard-sided kiddy pool, they make a great way to cool off, but also when dry, they keep toys contained.

Wow, Puket to the Maldives ? Thats a long sail ! Stopping off at Sri Lanka or obviously some of the Islands on the way I'm sure. 1780 miles total ! Regarding Trades, another boat put on a still, like Delos had years ago. They currently are both in Panama and its interesting what goes on when there is a still on board. Both Delos and the new boat had no kids on board when the stills were present. That seems to make a big difference with hard alcohol . I'm not sure what a cruiser would do to make trading worthwhile with these fisherman because they only have fish and cruisers catch fish. I was surprised the fisherman were so slow ! I saw Muscle Farms on another channel, and , if in an area where they were located at night with no lighting that could be a problem. On an SSB Ham 40m Sailing Network we helped a guy (mostly just there for him) who had one of those lines caught around his rudder ! Not good, he eventually was able to pull it up far enough to cut it ! He was being tossed around a lot ! Crazy thing , KZbin, You thank us for watching, we are the ones who should be thanking. Great content from the middle of no-where !
