I know it was in a previous video that you were talking about your toe board brackets being taller than the toe board itself. I can see in this vid they still are. I think if it were my problem I would solve it by adding material about 3 inches wider and a 1/2 inch taller than the bracket. Creating "humps" along the top of the toe rail. Not sure if I would have these humps start/end as a 1/4 round popping up kind of matching the corners of the bracket or if I'd have them blend in sweeping down to zero. : )
@sailingavocet4 жыл бұрын
Hey Kary! Funny enough they don't even bother us anymore. We considered a lot of options to "resolve" the issue but honestly they are all time or monetarily consuming. They aren't harming anything, and we honestly don't even notice them while sailing or admiring our boat from the dinghy. We appreciate your time too throw an idea our way! You are very clever :)

Would you guys mind setting up a camera on the railing of your boat, on the side of your “flopper stopper” and do a time lapse video, to show the difference with, and without the flopper stopper? @@sailingavocet I don’t watch all of the sailing channels on KZbin, but I have/do watch a decent amount, and this is the first time I have seen that “flopper stopper” I would think that if you guys called the manufacturer of the unit you are using, maybe they would pay you guys, or give you different types of their products to do a review on. Maybe if you record a review for their product, and send that to them as well in an email or on social media, that would help them choose you to be one of their spokesmen maybe? Just a thought. Sorry if I am suggesting too much, and kinda stepping on your toes a little, but I just figured this could be a good opportunity. Good luck either way and cheers!🍻

@@SoulofaSeeker Well hello again! I saw your comment on our blog, I haven't had a chance to log in and respond yet... Yes! Cleo is a rescue, we adopted her when we still lived on land in Lake Tahoe, and she was 2, about 4 years ago now. She was supposed to be a goldfish, but when we saw her at the pet store we knew we had to rescue her from her glass box. Best choice we ever made, even though I never did get a gold fish.
