I agree. Lifting 44 pounds from a dinghy to onboard your boat isn't easy. The sloshing doesn't help ease the task either. You definitely had a current against you going through the hole in the wall. I enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing.

Navigating that passage in a sail boat - that took some nerve. Been following your journey since Panama. Often out in the northern Hauraki Gulf in my fishing boat and visit places thinking - yeah Barry was here. If you come back here, I'll motor out and drop you off a dozen cold ones. Glad that you made it. Thanks for the fine video. Be VERY careful with gasoline. I worked at a major hospital in Michigan and we would have classes at the burn center. When you soak a bonfire with petrol there is a ball of vapor that surrounds the material. When you light a match and throw it in that ball of vapor will ignite and burn you horribly. This also happens when you throw the gasoline on an existing fire. Fortunately that bloke did so on a windy day so the vapor got blown away. Be safe brother and may God bless you.

The first time I saw the Hole in the Wall was with Delos quite a while ago ! Footnote, at least you don't have as far to go. As long as a Typhoon doesn't start up ! One guy went for the predicted wind speeds and that turned out to be very costly.

I loved the little bit where you were picking and singing on the guitar. I love to do that too. I wish you would include more of that in the videos. Doesn't have to be high quality or perfect. Just a little snippet of you picking as the sun goes down or something at the end of the day. That's the dream, isn't it? What guitar do you have with you? Hows it holding up with the humidity and heat?

I remember tying up to pilings at high tide and then doing bottom maintenance at low tide. It was called the grid because of the timbers on the bottom for the keel.
