I was listening to this song with my dad when I was 13. English is not my native language so I couldn't understand the words, 7 years passed and this song has been stuck in my head during that time. I remembered only 'I'm flying, I'm flying' I was searching for lyrics all this time, escpecially last 4 years because my dad is not with me anymore,I found the lyrics about 7 month ago I cant describe what I was feeling and still when I'm listening to this song, I love you Dad and rest in peace

My geandmum loved this song from all of her heart. She always loved when I played this for her on KZbin. She died this morning. I miss her so much and this song reminds me of her. This is the song I made my parents buy for me on vinyl back when I was 7 years old in the early 1980’s and was the first piece of vinyl I owned. While my musical taste has changed over the years and I have become a fan of metal, I still love listening to Rod and this song. This version is one of the best - Rod’s vocals are godlike, the backing singers awesome and the guitarist made it sensational. I would have loved to have been there that night.

I like your enthusiasm and passion but this is not epic. Its an ok guitar solo and he actually gets carried away with the bending and his movements on stage. He plays simple pentatonic scales and the „soul/feeling“ is hatdly there.
