Sailing the HT-Race - Day 1 - Sailing Marieholm IF

130 flat-bottomed boats, sail and sash yachts, including 11 Marieholms, will sail the sailing race from Harlingen to Terschelling on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 June 2024.
About the HT race
The HT race is for weekend runners but also for touring runners who find it fun to race a weekend accompanied by an escort from Harlingen to Terschelling.
Every year the HT Race is divided into different classes. From large yachts to small westbound yachts and classic round- and flat-bottomed yachts. The continuing classes provide for a mixed audience. From young to old, from men to women, everyone can do it.
It is divided into different group and ungroup classes. The combined classes: the VA and VB round and flat bottoms, and the ORC classes. The agreed sailing yachts are to be divided into 2 classes, with the SW rating determining which class is most important. A rating system is also used in the area of ​​round and flat floors.
