Catboats sail very well when reefed down. One doesn't gain anything with too much sail up. Flat is fast!

Looks like fun sailing-beautiful waters! That really looks like a nice boat to sail. Did the brightwork-rails and slides-come from the factory with that finish? Are they painted? Epoxy coated? Thank you

The original buyer specified beige StarBoard instead of teak… to minimize maintenance. The only exterior wood is the teak bowsprit

6.8kts!!? Wow, I was sure my eclipse is faster than a horizon cat. But my max is 6.4. Then again, I don't go out in over 17kts. Your boat is very stable for that type of wind and no reefs.
