We made our last trip in Uruguay to Punta Del Este, which is called the Miami of South America and the center of luxury. We can say that we did not find what we expected. After all, it is very difficult to be impressed by any luxury in South America after seeing luxury in Europe.
As they say, days pass quickly, and our days in Uruguay passed in the blink of an eye. We were always watching the weather anyway. When we saw that the high pressure would allow the end to sail very fast, we concentrated on setting off immediately.
The journey was magnificent. This boat flies. In the videos of boats sailing from Uruguay to Argentina, you usually see that they always go with motors. We saw a maximum speed of 12.2 knots and we sailed at an average speed of 8.4 knots until we closed the mainsail at sunset for a more comfortable cruise in the channel. There was a little more traffic in the channel than we expected. We also made the night fun for us.
It is impossible to express how cold we are. You will be able to hear our teeth chattering when you watch the video.
At the end of 24 hours, we connected to the Argentina Yacht Club.
Our first impressions of Buenos Aires are very positive. Giant streets but classic buildings that have managed to preserve their style. We are in a city where it is very enjoyable to walk the streets.
