The term for making sure the velour or velvet will lay correctly is called following the nap of the fabric, unfortunately it can lead to a lot of waste fabric but it’s so nice to see someone else make cushions 😆 especially when he showed you how much the fabric can stretch cutting on the bias Thank you Chris for giving magic carpet her comfy final touches 🤗

I do hope more sailors really appreciate the level of skill brought to projects like this. And not just at the high end craftmanship we see here. The materials, the time to do the work, and the time to hone the skills, all add up to what a project like this will cost. And too many folks will cast aspersions at the craftsmen about that price. Great video guys, thanks for giving a lovely view into this.

Many years ago in the UK there used to be a radio presenter doing the breakfast show on radio 2. His name was Terry Wogan, and he used to play quite a lot of Madeleine Peyroux. If you like Careless Love, may I suggest her early work like 'dance me to the end of love'. An amazing singer, and that is from someone who is not a fan of jazz. As for Magic Carpet, whoever gets her when you sell is going to get an amazing boat. With the amount and quality of work you two have put into her, I would argue better than original.
