Wow, don't give up on that Bow Thruster. They are amazing to have, you can maneuver the boat around so well with them ! Wow, Zowie, my impression of your mom ! The only other boat with a Bow Thruster was the Delos Amel. It was absolutely amazing what Brian could do with it, the boat could get into any spot necessary easily.

You two have hit legend status in my book, taking in the refit in the tropics months after dismasting plus twins plus a great channel. Once you’re all on the water hoping you put your feet up a bit - as best as you can, you’ve earned it several times over already 😊

Hahaha thanks Robert! We feel like this will be the hardest time of our lives, definitely taking a rest after all this refit. Cheers for the lovely comment mate 🙌🏼

as in all machinal work, one need to have a tool or trash gripper to get bolts and part retrieved out of places one can not reach with fingers. I have magnets and large speaker magnets. antenna mounts to add me in and get them within reach. as for you bow thruster would hope you can fix and repair it as believe its use will add you very much in your future sailing and docking adventures.
@clivestainlesssteelwomble76655 ай бұрын
If the bow thruster goes down but not up just make a note of the switch. terminals and replace it with a 3 position switch off in the middle and up and down the other two ways.. it may just be a poor connection on the terminal or in the switch if theres a single live feed to the mid way off position. Then direct out to the relay powering the accuator. If the switch a cables have continuity then deal with the actuator .. via. relay or pair of relays .. from a single or split live high current power supply wire.. One cable may have snapped or overheated due to the wire being inadequately clamped by the connector block screw or the assembly getting jammed whist trying to retract.

Durians I understand, they're definitely an acquired taste. But I was born and raised and spent close to 30 years of my life in that part of the world, and fail to see the problem with what I used to call mangostans. When I was a kid I used to love them.

Absolutely would be my recommendation. 1. If you plan on Asia not many marinas so no need. A.ways give you support with dinghy.. 2. Not sure about the seal on that thing but that’s a big hole. You are in great hands as you know. James’s and crew are some of the best in Asia . If you see “Max Q” while around Phuket give me a wave and come over. I’ll show you around . Craig

Place a patch of womens' stockings/hosiery material on the end of the vacuum hose, secured with a rubber band. The vacuum will work and the item will be sucked against the hosiery so you don't have to go digging for it in the vacuum bin.
@mariawadsworth72905 ай бұрын
We do this on our SM2k but secure it with a cable tie. You’ll need to change it every 2/3 months.
