Yeah seriously, if you start the video saying “you don’t have to break the bank renovating an 18 year old boat” but then don’t mention costs, it’s just bluster and doesn’t have any meaning behind the video. Maybe it didn’t break their bank but there’s no way to compare costs relative to a newer boat and one’s budget, etc.

Love the color choices especially the white makes it look brand new and vupholstery. I especially like the closed in patio area which gives more room for Willa and Brodie to be creative. You both did a fantastic job doing the remodel work and refit and the cushions look and feel comfortable, new and a great job on measuring and uphostery. A perfect fit.

What you've done is absolutely incredible! Nahoa looks like a new boat! Ashley you did an amazing job on the colours and design and Ben has now been through, upgraded or rebuilt every component from rigging to dingy and from air conditioning, to autopilot and water-maker. She really is a new boat - to suit a new family. (Don't keep it too cool in your room... you don't have room for another bambino!)

Upgrade looks fantastic! If you see the seal again, with the rope around its neck, let the Aquarium know. They have a team which are well trained in removing ropes, plastic, wires, etc. Fair winds for the next leg.

Just beautiful. When there are only 2 Adults with 2 little ones on a boat, YOU NEED ORGANIZATION AND EFFICIENCY! Especially during rough seas. 5 mins, 10 mins, kid distractions and safety. The boat seems like it is so amazing and will bring you JOY. The question I have is when the engine is under a bed, do fumes escape into the living area? Or how is it vented out of the room? I remember Curiosity had diesel fuel tanks under their bed and needed new tanks. Congrats and blessings.

It looks great! What a difference a little paint and new flooring makes. I know how big of a leap of faith it was to paint, though. Once you do it, it’s almost impossible to go back. I painted the walls in my motorhome and had the same trepidation. But now, it’s so light, airy and modern looking. Nice upgrades and updates all around!

That looks much more modern and being very light colours the space looks bigger. I prefer that look to wood being everywhere. Wood looks good as trim in moderation but too many boats seem to OD on it.

@@rockinrican85 if you properly repair the bulkheads (as they did) then the boat is fine and doesn’t lose any value. There are tons of Lagoons that have sold since making the bulkhead repair.

Just thinking about having kids on board.... if you ever mysteriously lose power.... check out that nifty red switch in your electrical panel that looks like it would be AWESOME to try turning.... also, how heavy are those beds to lift??? Would the kids ever be able to lift them before they learn that they are not supposed to play in the engine bay??? stuff possibly could be dropped into there??? Just thoughts that floated by since the systems are so conveniently accessible. Your reno came out beautifully!

Great job! Thank you for putting it on display for the rest of us. I just went through the process of replacing all the saloon windows myself and was wondering if you still have the original sliding door/window between the saloon and cockpit? Also how did you go about the stair steps edges with the new vinyl floor? It seems you left the original black rubber edge in place and put vinyl on top of it. I am not sure the vinyl (in my case the CLICK vinyl flooring 4mm) is solid/strong enough to sustain the proper edge in a long term. What is your opinion on that? All the best!
