Your the first sailing channel I've seen go ashore at Anzac cove. Surreal feeling @16:50, like we were stepping on souls. Coincidently, tomorrow (25th April) is Anzac Day. Lest We Forget... 🥀

Thank you again for the laughs. Stones are ok to collect, wouldn't recommend rocks. My ex put so many in my 12ft fiberglass boat, we were camping and traveling by car, that when we got home and flipped it over there was a hole were a roller crashed through. I've got to boast about my dog. I live in the country, not real far from ppl, and I can see up to a stop sign. Firetrucks had their sirens on and I could see them coming down the road, slowly. I stepped out grab the leash and took my dog out to see what was happening. A girl put her car in the woods on its side, I heard it but thought it was thunder. I didn't hang out there so I'm inside and I heard a helicopter, sounded low so I went out. He circled back and off to my left I could tell he was coming down, I sit on 2 acres with only one electric wire that he would have to stay away from. I put Maggie in the house and started videotaping it, pretty cool to have a front seat. After awhile I came in to check on Maggie, she was fine. No barking no carrying on. I don't know how many times I told her she was a good girl. If that was the ups truck she'd go nuts. I have to go throw her the frisbee now. Y'all stay safe. Great video 👍❤🐕🐱🚁⛵

Thanks mate! Oh no, thats no good about the crash, hope they are ok, it doesnt sound good if there was a helicopter involved.!

haven't you got him boat trained yet?? Looking forward to watching you deal with weeks at sea, working your way home
@SailingSunday4 жыл бұрын
haha, Nah he is boat trained, but he needs the exercise. There will be times hes stuck on the boat, but only on a 4 or 5 future trips out of thousands. We just walk him a lot for the exercise and I would rather him pee on the beach than on the boat lol

What kind of papers do you need to be able to travel with your animals to all these places..?
@SailingSunday4 жыл бұрын
We have a pet passport, and keep all their vaccines up to date and rabies certificate. I think every country is meant to stamp the pet passport, but I try and they all tell me no, they simply refuse. They do look at all the paper work, most times I have to force them to look at it though, but they never get a vet out to see us..... I think its just too much work for them, Maybe they are just more relaxed in Europe.

Hey I dont normally Harp on people, or not pick, but being I've been to the middle east a few times what yall did at the start of this video is very dangerous and could get you killed for real..... j.s. think about what you do .... hope yall had good sailing either way
@SailingSunday4 жыл бұрын
I had to re-watch it to see what we did, oh jeez, yes I can see now, obviously we mean no disrespect at all, in the raw footage the locals were all there with us, we just wanted to sing along but it stopped so we started laughing because we did it all wrong and then we missed out and the phone started dialing at the end! I hope nobody finds anything we do offensive, it should all be taken with a grain of salt as we are always just joking around having fun all the time on here :)

Sailing Sunday, as everybody desires we also expect respect to our beliefs. So it is not wellcomed to make fun of the call to prayer in any muslim country. But you can be sure no body will kill or hurt you because of this especially in the west of Turkey. Wish you safe sail and hope to enjoy our beatiful coastline.
@s.v.gadder14434 жыл бұрын
That's a little distasteful... Im Not a fan of Islam but I know for a fact they don't appreciate that kind of behavior.... even moderate Muslim can be violent over that... just f.y.i.
