Your videos are beyond great, lots of intel on every stop, great mix of sailing that beautiful HC 33 and exploring when you make landfall. I love that boat, and believe me I'm taking notes on the toys you guys have to aid with exploring and having fun.

My partner and I stumbled upon your channel and have been thorughly enjoying watching. We pretty much just finished prepping our boat (it's done enough) and plan to leave in the spring time heading down the coast out of SF Bay, first to SoCal and the channel islands, then MX . We're sad that only two more episodes remain as the style and content is excellent. Hopefully you will find the time/energy to go through footage and release more episodes. We'd love to learn about your experiences going west to east as we're considering doing the same.

Wow, this is fantastic. The videography is like something out of Nat Geo, very well done. Portabellas, you can grill 'em just like a burger, or stuff 'em with a shrimp scampi, yummy. Take care scuba diving on limited rest, easier to make stupid mistakes when you are not at your best. Thanks for posting and fair winds.

It has been a while since I have seen a new episode glad to see you both are doing well. I have watched all your episodes and really enjoy your journey from buying your boat to all your adventures. I have watched other sailing channels but like yours the best. I only wish you would put more episodes out but then you might not enjoy your lifestyle as much, sorry it is a little selfish on my part. Lol... I can’t wait for your next adventure, stay safe and good sailing.

Wonderful to have another chapter in your travels. Can we assume the water temp. was nice? No wet suits seen. Great that you are traveling with other boats. Makes for more fun and it can be much safer traveling in numbers. Looking forward to more of the same kids.

On my first day of sailing in the 1970s a whale hit our keel, garred the boat hard. It bounced back, surfaced and looked at us and then went under us but could have gotten angry and smashed us or our keel could have come off or on a clam day we could have been knocked overboard. That lesson always stuck with me ie: Even on a sunny light breeze day, anything can happen in a second so always be prepared.

Dude... that part where you were within 3 feet of that booby... you know what was really fascinating? That geological formation behind you - it was this huge sedimentary slab that was thrust up out of the bed. I would love to take a look at that in person because it was so localized, not a large plate but just a relatively small plate. Amazing stuff

Nice video. Do you not have any battons in your sail?
@SailingVesselPrism7 жыл бұрын
+Alan B nope, we are battonless
@alansailing13877 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure I understand the logic here, battons are there to stabilize the leech. It gets very expensive very quickly if you flog out the leech of your main sail.

Hi Guys, I love your cinematography, but I sometimes get lost in the voiceovers as incorrect language gets me every time. Just FYI, "circuling" and "omnious" are not words in anyone's language. Still like the videos though.
@SailingVesselPrism7 жыл бұрын
+Kris Eriksen hey there! Sorry to lose you on that! I looked up those words just to make sure they are in the English dictionary and they did mean what we thought they meant.they checked out on my end. Maybe our pronunciation was off? Otherwise I hope you enjoyed yourself.
@kriseriksen47377 жыл бұрын
The words I believe you were looking for were “Ominous” and “circling”.
