Saillon has a rich history dating back centuries. This history is visible in the numerous old buildings and walls as well as the watch tower of the castle that is visible from afar and gives the village a distinct look.

Lived in the area for 3 years, love it. If you ever return to Martigny/Saillon, try driving the Route d'Ovronnaz, over the village of Saillon, it is a spectacular panoramic road up into the mountains.

Very cool video! Just today I uploaded a 360 video of the streets of Saillon. Nice town, but above all, the spectacular via ferrata Farinetta and the passarelle, in the nearby canyon.
