for that money you can get a 50 foot fully carbon monohull, the hull of this one is fiberglass, they are out of their minds with these prices, for the same money you can get a Rapido 50, full carbon.

this one is carbon. if you look at the bow it says dragonfly 40c. the c being carbon. one metric ton lighter than the fibreglass models. also the rapid is built in Vietnam. quality not as good.

I'm just going to venture a wild guess and say the people in the market for a +$1m trimaran know exactly what they want. And it's not always the most feet of interior space per dollar. The form factor on this is a feature, not a bug.

@@toggtlas7099 I can spend a bit over two mill on a multihull, I want something fact, for two mill you can get a full 100% carbon Cure 55 with only nine tonne displacement, 1,2 mill for this little one which is not even full carbon its a tiny boat, a nice looking one but with that kind of money and a little bit more upon that you can get something useful, I just think its not worth the money, it should be priced at half that price then perhaps just for the sake of it one can get one, I understand they only throughout the years they only sold a something like a dozen of them, they make I think one every two years, anyways.

Now this is just a wild ass guess, but interior volume is probably not the top priority for anyone buying a Dragonfly 40 trimaran... Priorities are probably instead things like light wind performance and not rolling at anchorages...

@angela1984a when ur at dock its folded up to save room.. it's definitely faster than a monohaul but u could probably get a catamaran for cheaper

@paulcoverdale8312 well depending on the country ur in .. in Canada u only pay for length in America u pay for length and width when docking.. outside of that that 40 foot tri has one miniscule bathroom and 2 bedrooms meanwhile a 33 foot mono (yea slower)has 3 bedrooms and 1 to 2 bathrooms.. I feel it really comes down to livability . But if you super rich and can afford multiple boats it doesn't matter.. if u like most people you should be smart and get a boat u can live on for way cheaper
