Just happened to see this on my feed. I was gifted one used slightly and mine is identical but HDD is brand so its a generic unit. Im on day 3 of debugging as he said it didn't work well. My house is cold so it set off the humidity alarm constantly NY eve. I unplugged. Next day was fine until evening when house got colder and again humidity dropped and alarms. Today ran fine all day. I took apart the lid thinking maybe old feather dust or cobwebs might be the issue. But I think it just needs a warm room. Did you by chance have a booklet? Ive only seen a few setups and my countdown timer doesnt function. I didn't know about alarm setting til another video. Going to watch yours as you got 18 days in. Im very rural and we get lots of power failures for up to weeks and we do rescue as well as breeding of various animals. If I dont have a warm room I wont use it for eggs. But we lost 9 bunnies this week because of power failure and new mom. So being battery backup I can handle with a small 12v battery and I think buying a new one will be safer plus attach my solar panel to keep it charged. But I would love a booklet for this unit. We struggle getting things here and cant buy offline and no mail. But my daughter is studying to be a vet and at least keep babies warm. We got another rabbit due this week. So im trying to get it working.

That hole on the side is where you put water in. I filled a bunch of them the first time and it went high so another guy said 20ml but 60ml has been ok past two days
