Decent pen, minus the huge stepdown. If it was a standard edition and cost around 450-500$, Sailor would actually be selling those like hot cakes. By the way, I literally can't hear you at full volume.

Nice video thanks. What size is the nib. Looks like MF

It's aesthically pleasing, certainly, John....I have large hands, so would have no issue in terms of handling - but as you assert, it feels as a tube of steel - not a particularly attractive asset in my humble opinion. I saw no real flexion in that nib - & I own a number of Sailor models with 21K blades. Personally, for a one hundred & tenth anniversary pen, I find it surprisingly ordinary; that is, of course, a subjective perception, & frankly, the price is ridiculous for such a scribe....I'd rather purchase a vintage Namiki. Thank you so much for your considered overview, but not one I would wish to add to my collection :)

Hi Andrew, I suspect more a failing of the video than the pen!

No, not at all, John, there was absolutely nothing wrong with your presentation; inexorably, we are all creatures of habit...& in this case, it is a pen that doesn't fulfil (my) criteria or grab me as a writing instrument that I would desire to own & use. I consider you a fine penabler, offering excellent detail about the scribes you so choose to demonstrate, Best, Andrew :)
