I think the OG pink one sounds better, but the look of the newer white one gives off a more sophisticated vibe, plus the color scheme reminds me of Princess Serenity! Also, can we expect an updated collection video soonish? It's grown so much since 2015 and the last update video was a couple years ago. I'd love to see an in-depth video on your collection! :)

What I don't get is why they did Proplicas for Eternal and not for Crystal. I would love a Proplica of the Moon Stick from Crystal!

It's good to know that the sounds stop working potentially after a while anyway lol Especially since I'm considering buying one (if anyone cancels an order) of the old one.. makes me feel that if I can find the old one for 150 or so (doubt) even if it doesn't play sound it's still better than not owning it. I love how more less like a toy (kinda) the new one looks, but I love the colors in the OG one and now seeing them side by side I definitely want both ;A ; the new one definitely feels more like the "Serenity" version so it still feels like a SM item even though I have no attachment to the manga. Thank you for the comparison!

Aaaaahhhhh Finally!!!! I am waiting for this... I wanted to see the difference ever since you unboxed the eternal ver. And about the battery thing... I experienced that... I dont know why it play sometimes and it doesnt... I already put a cotton on the back.. So its possible i do need new batteries as well... It feels like this proplica, sort of drain the battery very fast...

I haven't got the pink original pink one.(and regretting it) But what do you mean its not working? And how many sounds does it make. Looking and basing on the manuals. Wish you can make a sound comparison video too.

These are known to start having issues and stop playing music, and mine additionally has an issue with the battery compartment. You can see the sounds in the video in the description :). Send me moon power vibes so mine stars playing sounds correctly again and I’ll make that video!

Honestly, I kind a like the original one more than the eternal version because it has a lot more aesthetics than the new internal version not only that, but it also shows more colors, and it looks much more true to the original shell, which is absolutely sinful, considering how show accurate it is not an app, but it’s also good for nostalgia purposes especially if you really want to hold one of your favorite Sailor Moon weapons in your own hands, the newer one just has pearls some balls, all over the rod and on the bottom portion and it’s all covered in white and gold. It’s… Pretty bland if I say so myself, that’s why I prefer the original version because it has much more colors has show accurate audio plus has a few more sounds on its own. That’s why I consider the original version because it was never bland or uninteresting

Hey a bit off topic but around last week there was a article publish showing concept drawings of the Sailor moon sailor scouts uniforms and they looked pretty cool. one of the things me and my cousin didn't like about Sailor Moon was all their uniforms look the same (we were so little back then lol) these early sketches shows originally each Sailor Scout and Sailor Moon had unique uniform designs. i wonder what changed. i wanted to hear from you about it and do you think it was a smart decision they went with the look that they did.

I love this question! I personally prefer when their uniforms differ, like in the concept art or PGSM. What really grinds my gears is the Eternal forms looking even MORE the same at the end of the manga. Granted that the anime came out in the 90's, I'm inclined to suggest that perhaps Kodansha thought it would be more marketable to an anime studio if the designs were simpler?

@@SailorTortilla im the same. i like the differences it gives them more personality. Sailor Moon did a wonderdul job make each charector unique and diverse but when it came to their uniforms they kept it simple. I agree with you that i think the desicion to make them as simple and identical as possible is due to trying to make it easier to promote and pitch it to studios. Animations those days were so time consuming each frame had to be hand drawn and a 2min scene from a episode can have hundreds of frames. So yeah if you were a animator i would tell the artist too gotta cut it down to something easier.
