Jammed out to this 10 years ago, still jamming to it now. I miss when shows did this - put out complete albums featuring songs made specifically for the characters and often including their English voices (though obviously that wasn't the case here.) Franchises really knew how to do good merch back then.

So true. Occaionally they will still do an english dub of a song and tgats awesome but we need more. These sailor moon soundtracks are still amazing. We need to develop a anime culture similar to what they have in japan

Look, I agree that the faithful-dub puritans can SOMETIMES be toxic (especially when they say that the DIC version is garbage and nothing else), but to say that a faithful dub is BAD because it's faithful is no better either. I prefer to put it that there are TWO completely different versions of Sailor Moon. The American version, and the Japanese version. The Viz Dub gives fans a unique benefit: it's PRETTY MUCH like watching the original Japanese subbed, but with the characters speaking native English. It makes it possible to have your cake and eat it too, which is definitely a good thing. The ideal solution would be to have two concurrent English versions. One with the DIC-Cloverway cast and names, and another with the Viz-Crystal cast and names. I know people are gonna find it strange to have two separate dubs of the same thing, but we ALREADY have TWO dubs of the old show and movies. I don't see the harm in having TWO separate dubs for every new installment. It wouldn't be as difficult as it sounds, and it would be a GREAT PR move for a company to show that they LISTEN and CARE about ALL fans.

That one episode where Rei sings on stage? Missed opportunity. It would be awesome to see Serena and Rei singing this duet on stage. I think we can all agree that the show would be better if they had included this song in the actual episodes. Actually, I had never watched Sailor Moon until this year. It was THIS song that piqued my interest to go look for it. I complain that Rei and Serena's relationship is toxic, but punctuating it with this song would have made it all worth it.

This song doesn't exist in the original Japanese so that would have been pretty impossible for the dic dub to do.

@@ladysuperherolove I know that the soundtrack is different in the DIC dub, but they could still have inserted this as a background song. I mean, that never stopped Tokyo Mew Mew's english dub from adding songs in places where there weren't any.

They did insert this song in the DIC dub. It plays in the very last episode of Season 2, namely Episode 82, the clip show episode. It plays around the same time Ai no Senshi plays in the original soundtrack.@@eymed2023

Omg, the voices at the end were terrible >.< They should have had Terri Hawkes and Katie Griffin/Emilie Barlow do the voices for that part. Nice song though, it fits the scene in episode 82/89 nicely.
