Wigs from Arda Wigs (arda-wigs.com)
* Chibi Wig in 013 Light Blonde
* Long Ponytail Clip (over 40" long) 013 Light Blonde
Other materials used:
* Hair pick
* Scissors
* Low heat hot glue
* 2 Styrofoam balls - From Joanne's or Michaels (2 inch)
* Small rubber bands
* Matching Thread
* Large Needle
* Curling iron
* Hair Spray
* Small bowl of ice water
* Wighead (beauty supply store)
* Wig head holder (beauty supply store)
Lol I had a bit of a cold while filming this so sorry if I sound very nasal ^^;;

its the wig called chibi from arda-wigs be forewarned it is a smaller wig which ranges between 22-23.5inches in size

How did you manage to keep the hair that's on the 'head' so smooth and straight? Generally when you put a wig in a ponytail or twintail it looks horrible because most of the fibers are going against the weft, but yours looks PERFECT. I'm going to be doing a Saber cosplay (Fate/stay night) so I must know your secret! Unless it's the particular wig, in which case I must know that as well xD

I found using the short wefts from arda then the cut off ponytails.

If it were me, I would still use foam, but carve it into a heart shape.

looks like i will be redoing mine i wore it to anime milwaukee for one day and i actually have hair coming out from the stub underneath the odango, and the pig tails are so tangled ive ended up in tears because it just doesnt want to untangle

Would painting the Styrofoam ball a similar color be easier? That way the white will not show through as much. Or would it be a meaningless step?

That wig is a "Chibi" style from Arda. They're really high quality, but defiantly on the pricier side. You really can't get a wig like that anywhere else that is exactly like that in that color.
