Sailor Saturn's powers are never fully explained, but she's a LOT less versatile than Sailor Moon. A single attack from Sailor Saturn is undoubtedly that strongest in the SM universe, but they are less controlled and she dies in the process. Basically her only option is to nuke things, whereas Sailor Moon can to more focused attacks AND purify things. I think it's just the Tau Nebula she destroyed, not the entire dimension. I know in the manga, she's the one who ended the Silver Millennium when shit got really bad, but it was just in this solar system. Unfortunately, we don't see a whole lot of Saturn's powers compared to the other senshi. I used to think about Saturn a lot, that her powers are either zero or total obliteration so she's pretty cool, but limited in a general fight. She was the original One Punch Man. :) Yeah there’s no doubt Saturn is powerful but at the same time the series does make it a point that Sailor Moon’s Ginzuishou is THE most powerful object more or less in the universe. In addition to Usagi’s seemingly boundless capacity for love, in addition to being supported by the feelings and powers of all her guardians (Saturn included). In the end the series also emphasizes teamwork instead of individual power.

Isso me deixou triste mas só nessa vez pelo que lembro já que antes eu tinha assistido Eternal onde ela volta, mas mesmo sabendo que ela vai voltar isso é triste até minha mãe percebeu minha tristeza; E essa tristeza aconteceu com a Chibiusa 3 vezes; a 1 foi quando o espírito desencarnado dela sumiu, a 2 nessa cena depois que ela volta pro corpo restaurado não sei como e quando e a 3 quando a Hotaru foi possuída pelo Kon e a própria Usagi a matou até a Usagi ficou triste nessas 2 últimas cenas depois ela ressuscitou mas no final elas ficaram separadas aparentemente para sempre Hotaru no Presente pelo menos podendo ficar com a Chibiusa do Presente digo pelo menos porque eu acho que não dá uma versão de alguém ser um substituto perfeito de outra já Chibiusa ficou no Futuro sem sabermos como estão as Externas lá mas talvez um dia elas se reencontrem já Chibiusa se casar com Helios é confirmado no Canon Mundo(This made me sad but only this time from what I remember as before I had watched Eternal where she returns, but even knowing that she will return this is sad even my mother noticed my sadness; And this sadness happened to Chibiusa 3 times; 1 was when her disembodied spirit disappeared, 2 in this scene after she returns to her restored body I don't know how and when and 3 when Hotaru was possessed by Kon and Usagi herself killed her even Usagi was sad in these last 2 scenes later she was resurrected but in the end they were separated apparently forever Hotaru in the Present at least being able to stay with Present Chibiusa I say at least because I don't think one version of someone can be a perfect substitute for another, Chibiusa was in the Future without we know how the Externals are there but maybe one day they will meet again, Chibiusa marrying Helios is confirmed in Canon World) Existe uma teoria que Kousagi existe nesse mundo mas foi abortada na Saga Black Moon e acho similaridade entre a história da Chibiusa e Hotaru(There is a theory that Kousagi exists in this world but was aborted in the Black Moon Saga and I find similarities between Chibiusa and Hotaru's stories)

Reddit How powerful are Sailor Saturn's upgrades compared to Sailor Moon's? It was said that Eternal Sailor Moon has full control over the Silver Crystal, and she destroyed Nehelenia along with her parallel dimension. But when Base Sailor Saturn destroyed Pharaoh 90, did she destroy just the Tau Nebula, or the entire dimension? So how do Saturn's upgrades compare to Sailor Moon's? Note: I just finished the first 6 episodes of Stars, so no spoilers please. Weirdly I always felt Saturn downgraded when she wakes up in Stars, at least in the 90's anime. The Sailor Saturn we see at the end of S can teleport places and be ethereal. Her unique outfit also sets her apart from the other senshi and she just seems on a whole other level. She's still a nuke in Stars because she has enough power to kill Nehelenia, but my theory is she gave some of her power to the rest of the Outers to upgrade them to their super forms and that weakened her somehow. I don’t have a lot to say that is really super relevant to your question. But I just wanted to add in here, that, people are always making this big deal of pointing out how Sailor Saturn is actually really JUST the soldier of death and NOT rebirth at all. It annoys me because, to completely end something that currently exists, to destroy whatever is, well that’s a state change. Even if “nothing” was ever re-established in the place of the thing that you just destroyed, that state of nothing is still a transformation from the thing it was previously into something different (in this case, the different state being one of nothingness, but still). There’s literally a very famous often cited Graham Greene quote from The Destructors: “Destruction is also a form of creation.” Sailor Saturn’s ability to single handedly dispatch of the current reality, completely, as we know it, and even more, the fact that this execution ultimately hinges on Sailor Saturn’s own personal agreement with the findings and her subsequent total dedication to carrying out said action... well, that basically makes her the ultimate arbitrator of both destruction and rebirth, in this universe or whatever this thing they reside in is, I believe... at least that we currently know of. What I mean more specifically when I say that is. Okay, take this for example: Sailor Saturn could technically be awoken whenever, right? But there aren’t any existing mandates that she must end the planet, even against her better judgement, just because she was awoken (at least, not that I’m aware of, anyway). If she didn’t find the situation one truly necessitating a hard reset or use of the glaive, like, let’s say she were to awaken, arrive on the scene and examine the situation, and then ultimately conclude that there must be a mistake, a miscalculation of some kind, because she clearly sees that still quite a few viable, alternative, options remain and could still be taken. So she figures, wiping the whole slate to ground zero, which is basically last resort no other way thing, is not their only choice to proceed at this time. Then Saturn subsequently decides not to pursue utter annihilation, at least, not for the time being. Technically, I do not know of any specific thing that would prohibit Sailor Saturn from abstinence of extinction/glaive swinging, if refraining was what she thought she should do. So, my point is that: (1) Sailor Saturn always creates a reborn world whenever she banishes the existing one into total oblivion; (2) That new, reborn world is defined by the absence of the previous one (and all its little regularities of existence that stemmed from its existence). Further example: It’s the transition from a place where Joe used to get a coffee every morning at the drive through on 3rd street to one where nobody gets any coffee at all and there are no streets; and, (3) She does al of this completely or her own volition, at the end of the day, so she is the one with the greatest power for determining life and death. Sure, I mean, I’m not saying that being awakened for her isn’t kind of a significant tip off to her; like, “hey, you might need to put this one out of its misery, we’re sensing potential irreparable failure here, which could ruin everything forever, so yeah.” Like, wbu logical person, though, in her position would then go and investigate how close we are to permanent holocaust or whatever, she’d make sure too that cancelling the whole planet was what absolutely must be done, too; cause killing all her friends and her queen isn’t just a thing to do for fun. But Sailor Saturn obviously has all the discretion, it doesn’t appear that she carries out orders all mindless and dronelike to dustify planet earth from some other person, who would have to be like an unknown puppet master telepathically commanding her, because who else would be ordering her around secretly, and so discreetly we never see it on the show, and I mean how would they get her to just go, “oh yeah, sure, mr. disembodied voice, one eviscerated and then dissolved planet earth coming right up!” All jokes aside, I think someone else demanding her is so unlikely and nonsensical, I won’t even consider it again. But, there could still be the question of some kind of hard and fast rule that means she has to blow everything up after being woken up, no questions asked. But this seems like it also wouldn’t happen ever too, because I know we have seen instances in the show before where Saturn woke up, intended to go use the glaive and end this whole realm, only to eventually have the circumstances all shift sideways, leading her to the new conclusion: it was no longer the best available plan for her to cancel and erase everything in a last ditch, final chance at retaining the kingdom, her friends, and herself from whatever unthinkably terrible fate they would befall at the hands of their evil adversaries, who were now also victorious in addition to the whole evil aspect... not a great combo. Oh but yeah, now they’re not going to be victorious (just evil) because some things changed, so that plan of blanking everything would just do more damage than it would help. Plus, they stand a decently good chance now of beating the evil outright, so they might as well roll the dice, see what happens, and go from there. At least before they do the whole abort the world and have to experience the process of dying, which is decidedly sucky. It’s really a win-win overall. If they still lose, well hit the emergency button and go with the nuking all matter and consciousness plan again. Sailor Saturn is the supreme authority on whether she removes everything from existence- all the things composing our whole reality right now and making up our current understanding of existence, all of the things that are, at this moment. A deletion of the entire world and it’s established societal construction will ALWAYS be creating a replacement, merely by way of it being, something, anything else- whether that something is reincarnated cloud backup copies of the souls of all your friends from 3 lifetimes ago and of where everything was located yesterday... or if you’re too lazy to make backups so it’s just total, deserted, nothingness... still a rebirth: one thing, removed, in its place: a new, something else. You don’t have to populate the new clean slate world with the trapped and enslaved souls of your friends and with plenty of extra human beans for scenery and atmosphere just to be “creating” a situation. That’s just overachieving for the sake of it, which you don’t reply give two craps about once you’ve gone through the soul hollowing, permanent afflicting trauma of killing everyone you know a few times (and a bunch of people you don’t know) and also destroying all the things you own and your favorite items and OH DID I MENTION also the killing of yourself, too? You kind of stop having any concern towards perfectly populating your new Sims 3 city and home, murdering that many distinct classes of people and also throwing everything else a huge kamikaze, well you do all of that and then, next time you wake up and open your eyes, you’re only opening them because you actually gotta go do another one of those mass murder plus explosion of the to-smithereens variety really quick again. Yeah, the trauma of cyclically doing that starts to make your brain have less healthy tissue and matter, so you can’t bother with trying to hold worries about repopulating your 5th Attempt City with perfectly designed and proportioned citizens and real estate. ALRIGHT, so the end of the line is Sailor Saturn IS the Soldier of Death but she is ALSO the Soldier of REBIRTH, and that’s just pretty indisputable and so everyone just agree now, okay people? That was the entire point of my rambling, the whole thing I was ramping up to forever and ever and ever with my impeccably worded blocks of words (some of them even making total sense together) 😂 Oh and sorry again I literally did not address or really touch upon your question at all, not in any way, shape, or form whatsoever. Just some unrelated thing that had a name in common. I got really into the whole flow of thoughts though and it just was really enjoyable to keep going, I was having so much fun, and I think I’ll also enjoy looking back at this in a week and reading it to myself, pondering what the hell I was thinking here and if I believed it was actually compelling at the time of drafting it. So thanks for that too, the future enjoyment and the putting up with me polluting your space. Okay cool. I think I’m done now. Bye. SATURN FOR DEATH AND REBIRTH 4EVER DUDEZ. 4y old post but damn that was a good read Oh wow
