What a wonderful adventure. I’ve been prepping to Judge my first DCC for a while now and this was such a help! Thank you to everyone and great Judging!

Wow! I've been watching Ted's and Jorphdan's videos for years now. It is awesome to see them do a game together with one of my favorite games. Can't believe I'm just stumbling across this now.

If you hit you never do less than 1 point of damage regardless of modifiers.

Reminds me of the first table top rpg session I ever ran. There was some sort of troll like creature that did 2d8-4 damage and I hit a player with snake eyes. My friend made the argument that the creature pulled skin back onto place healing the character. I was a 14 year old newb and to this day I am still impressed with that argument, so I allowed

This is great! Picked up DCC in wake of the OGL stuff and I’m really excited to run my players through it’

Thanks for making this, it was a lot of fun to watch. When Lorna died, all I could think of was that scene from the movie “Master and Commander” where the young officer who the crew is convinced has cursed them grabs the cannonball in a fit of depression and jumps overboard 😢😆

A successful attack always score 1 damage even with negative strength modifier

I wish this DM did a little prep for this adventure. I'm about to run this for my group and can clearly see that trying to read it step by step without preparation is foolish.

It seems like he took the danger from the well and added it to the pool of skulls and the falling ziggurat.

I was wondering about the change too. He must run this model frequently. Good ideas.

So many people could have died in that well! Judge Lex, why so nice?

Edgar Molas it’s a weakness I have, bread from running primarily more forgiving RPGs. Definitely something I need to correct!

This is really interesting, but I would really love to see some kind of map or something, even if it's simple, to help with keeping track of what's going on... Especially with 16 player characters running around.

Very fun, good group! I would've loved to see more of the "burn luck" mechanic in this. It's a very useful resource, particularly for level 0's.
@DankDungeons10 ай бұрын
It's the strangest thing, whenever I run a funnel I rarely see people burning luck. But if I run any level adventure and they have no problem doing it. Maybe it's because people new to DCC play funnels first and they don't realize burning luck is a thing. It's definitely something I've gotten better at suggesting to them as the Judge.

Just found this as part of the anti-Hasbro thing... Some really great players/characters (I follow a couple of you guys already). So far really fun!!! BTW: I much prefer the DM just describing what's going on vs. reading the module text, which is way overwritten, IMHO. Looking FW to the series and hoping for more interaction vs. bad module writing/reading. :) Thanks, all, for making this stuff and sharing it. :)
@ordinarytree4678 Жыл бұрын
agreed. All the dcc modules have great art that he couldve just left on the screen and that wouldve been enough. Maybe an overlay with who is dead

Unfortunately no, but over the past year I have done several DCC actual plays over on Jorphdan's Jocular Junction that you may enjoy: kzbin.info/aero/PLD1umK9FXTAQFg1Xtkz9Yg2Igf-4a5eB3&si=ML2KgbSOaEvZO4q5
