The song is Mirotic by DBSK=Dongbangshinki/TVXQ. This song blew up the K-pop scene in the day. Mirotic was like what Blood Sweat and Tears was for BTS. A turning point in kpop history. I loved DBSK so much, my bias was Junsu, I often see him in Jimin. They are both cute but sexy, with unique vocals and amazing fluid dance styles. ❤ The lyrics : "under my skin" were deemed too sexual unappropriate 😂 (I think they took it as a sexual act like sex.) so they had to change it to "under my sky" for most broadcasts. You should watch the MV, it's legend, just as sexy as the song.

Native English speaker here. The phrase "something got under my skin" is not meant to be taken literally and definitely not sexually. It refers to something that is affecting your thoughts and won't go away. Often referring to something like an irritant. (Like if you got a splinter that you couldn't get out of your skin.) In the context of the song the meaning is closer to "I can't stop thinking about you and wanting you even if I tried." When the song was banned by Korean media it was because they didn't understand this. And then of course their reasoning was passed on to the Korean public, even though incorrect.

It literally is just a phrase referring to how much someone or something affects you & more precisely , it being out of your hands; and it can be postive or negative ( examples: "Ugh! I can't stand the way my boss treats new employees. It really gets under my skin"; or in a postive pleasantly out of control way lol: "Idk what it is about that guy! He's not even my type but I think about him all the time... he's really gotten under my skin ") The term itself is NOT about sex at all & never will be lol. I MISS TVXQ SO MUCH till this day even though I'm now a MOA. I'm not native eng speaker myself and years ago found out that "under my skin" is actually an idiom, meaning "can't get you off my mind".
