Honestly, I don't understand why do you need any library for SOAP? It's just XML text over HTTP POST, where the response is an XML document. Maximum, you might need Tim Luq's wsdl-to-ts tool, and that's all you might optionally need. Enterprise organizations use SOAP/WSDL heavily even today. I've had four projects this and the previous year where we worked with SOAP. Every serious app developer must be fluent in SOA, which was and still is a brilliant technology. If you regard and approach this topic as I suggest "SOAP is just XML over HTTP POST" then you will be terribly convenient with it. No need that fancy and cumbersome gizmoriada you've installed.
