The sad part is he helped write a few of the original songs from their first album so I'd expect better material but it's subpar. Go listen to outsider then flawed design. I know this is a year old comment, but honestly it's the same for me. At least on my mom's side. She was a goth girl, so I grew up on goth rock and some bands like Evanescence, Linkin Park and a few others. I still listen to Evanescence and Linkin Park, but I have found a bunch of other great bands like TDG and Saint Asonia, Breaking Benjamin, Icon For Hire, Halestorm and Green Day. I guess it is fitting that a former goth girl would give birth to a punk girl.

IMO this whole album is the 3dg album we have been waiting for a very long time...either after transit of venus, or in place of it....it's so much like their old stuff. The other band members make it even better as you can tell there's these other extra sounds, but man a lot of these songs are so much like Adam's old music...I grew up on this type of sound. So damn good. I'm surprised 3dg hasn't dropped right off the radar and this band hasn't risen in place of them...I guess that just goes to show how far a name/brand goes nowadays.

Transit was ok. Too poppy. I think Adam was too disappointed in that album and just quit. I think Adam jumped ship knowing it was going to sink with him if he didn't. Staind is more talented musically anyway. I think Mike and the boys are better suited for Adam, personally
