The city of St.Gallen was founded by St.Gall from Bangor the same St.Gall that the GAA team from Belfast are named after, one of their Ultras groups are called the Bangor Maniacs after this connections, there are many references to Bangor in the city of St.Gallen.

@@ThePeakys there's also a church in Bangor with a statue of a Bear outside this is the symbol of the city of st.gallen, there are also some depictions of st.gallen leving in his boat on the pier in Bangor and also the remains of the monastery

Ultimately, as a Larne fan, we knew that it was going to be very difficult for us to compete with anyone that we drew as part of our fixtures. The disappointment so far is how we have applied ourselves when there has been an opportunity to be in possession. Its hard work and takes a lot of concentration when you are the side set up to hold a shape and when you get the ball, you need to treat it well and in the game on Thursday plus Molde away, that has been the element which has been poorest, especially as everyone knows we are capable. Shamrock Rovers was embarrassing from start to finish including team selection, formation and performance. Anyway, Sunday now becomes very important as our recovery and follow up games from the European competition have been extremely poor, as league points are much more necessary than performances in the Conference League. Finally, the number of Irish League opposition fans who have continued to spout a load of nonsense about embarrassing the league and other verbal diarrhoea, well, dont be jealous for too long, all being well their club can bother themselves in the current league campaign, win it, then compete and qualify for the Conference League next year and try their best. The one thing they'll never be, is the first to do it. Off to Slovenia in a couple of weeks, Im sure we'll have a great time. Great content again Niall!

Interesting round up at the end. Larne played within themselves, do you actually believe that. I watched the game and at no point did I see that. The stats also show Larne had 1 shot in the whole match with 41% possession. Totally outclassed by a team who conceded 10 goals in their previous 2 ECL games. Disappointed you didn't follow through with the Rovers game, its your channel so you have that right. Some of the excuses Larne management came out with after losing to Rovers were head In the sand stuff. Simply outclassed by a much better team. St Gallen fan were brilliant, obviously had more freedom to attend and march unlike the restrictions put on Rovers.

Tbh mate I’ve watched quite a few Larne games in the last few years and I think a lack of belief is holding them back a bit. I also believe that if they were able to play at their own ground they would be better. Rovers are flying in Europe. Unbelievable results so far

Europe has been brilliant, regardless of the results. Clubs reached a level that nobody expected. Just hope defeats don't derail everything domestically. Need to be within 6 points at Christmas.

​@@ThePeakysObviously you have seen more of Larne than I have so I accept your point. I would say though, the stats don't lie, St Gallen were far superior as were a Rovers team who had one eye on the Sunday game against Dundalk. If you want the NIFL to progress you have to be reflective on the simple facts that Larne might be a strong team in your league, but to me it's a league that doesn't take itself seriously with unprofessional attitudes. Wasn't to long ago the Crusaders manger went on holiday whilst his team were playing in Europe.
