Paris reminds me of my own hometown, ILOILO CITY in the Philippines, with its plentiful remnants of Spanish colonization, but the buildings, palatial mansions plazas, parks, squares, and especially our Riverside Esplanades, which are the longest and most beautiful in the Philippines. Iloilo's may have been Spanish-inspired, but a lot of these buildings, and especially the huge mansions, have architectural designs that are heavily French-inspired. There are, for example, the very famous Nelly Garden ( that's how the Mansion is called, with its two-football-field-wide lawn; and the equally grandiose Lizares Mansion, or presently the Dominican Angelicum school. Both sport the beautiful French Beaux Arts styles). Iloilo City is the most beautiful City in the Philippines.

I lived on Saint Germain for a month and it felt like a little lifetime. I miss it and want to go back. This was lovely. Merci 💕 omg when you walked down the street with the restaurants I could taste the mussels I had!! The flashback was so real 😭
