This song has been on constant repeat. I can relate so much to it as someone who has bad anger issues that's caused problems in every relationship I've been it. "Admittance is the key to start the healing right" "I'm owning it tonight" what's different in my current relationship is that I own up to being wrong when I get angry, I say things I don't mean because of my pride/ego. It's hard to admit you're wrong and taking accountability for it but I try to catch myself before I say things I don't mean. By no means am I perfect, but I appreciate my partner by sticking beside me, as I learn to heal what really is behind my anger and ego. "I rather push on all your buttons to start a fight before I apologize" used to very much be me. I'm just glad my bf never met that old and ugly side of me.
