SAINT JOHN, New Brunswick | Top Attractions and Sightseeing

This video highlights the attractions and activities we got up to in Saint John, New Brunswick as a stop on our Norwegian Breakaway Canada and New England cruise. We set out on a trolley tour to kick off our sightseeing and then headed out on foot to explore the downtown area, waterfront, port, and sampled some craft beer along the way.

DISCOVER THE SAINT JOHN REGION
With historic city streets, a plethora of world-class
restaurants, charming boutiques, lovely art galleries, and

POPULATION
Approximately 135,000 people live in the Saint John
Region, and 810,000 in New Brunswick, Canada’s only
officially bilingual province.
CLIMATE
Saint John has a temperate climate of approximately 22°C
or 72°F in summer and -3°C or 25°F in winter. (But the
trick to being on the Bay of Fundy is to wear layers!)

The reverse is a slow process. But it's soooo much water that flows, when you are on the bridge you can feel the pressure of it. Hope you come experience it someday

Omg I’m loving the trolley tour and that it picks you up from your cruise. And great you have an option to return to your cruise or to go in to town after the tour. Also I’m loving the brewery tour.

Yes it was super convenient - literally right off the ship to get onto the trolley. The DIY brewery tour was also pretty fun.

Most of our pubs are dog friendly also. It's so fun going for a beer and getting to see everyone's dogs and cats. I take my huskies there too. Saint john is a pretty city.

We'd definitely love to come back in the summer, I've seen that there are a lot of beautiful parks and camping options, but we would never turn down trying a new craft brewery while we're touring around 🤣

Thanks for enjoying saint john. Please come back, we can take you to a real beach . Tincan is more a quick stop water front. We don't use it as a beach. But we have amazing spots on the river and bay where you can swim. You went to some awesome spots we all really love here. Tks for displaying them

Whirlpools & lots of foam is what happens every time I pour a beer LOL. The market reminds me of the port side market in Montreal. Beautiful street view at the downtown brewery, I wont complain much about the parked Subaru blocking the view but I will agree it took away from the overall beauty. Wasted Day has some of the coolest looking flight boards I've ever seen.

Ha! Yes seems to be your luck with beer recently. It was a great city to tour around with lots of great breweries within walking distance. The flight boards were very cool at Wasted Day, and the beer was tasty too 👌

Don't forget to visit the massive homeless population and drug addiction uptown a short walk from the cruise ship port. Its a great city and relying on tourist income but the past few years have been really rough.

Nice stop when we visited but the reversing falls were meh. Perhaps they are impressive at other times. We did see seals on the way which was cool.

I think the reversing falls need to be timed for when the tides are coming in... we didn't see it at its peak either. Sadly, there are no seal sightings on our visit to Saint John!

It feels like I was just there! Oh, and guess what? Some teenage idiot pulled a knife and brass knuckles on me while I was filming in the container village. Turns out, he wasn’t a fan of KZbinrs. Thankfully, a group of other tourists stepped in and scared him off
