i really want a pair of those saint laurent’s but i’m afraid that a 43 ( which is size 10 US) will be too small. you mentioned that you sizes down in the common projects from a 44 to 43 and they fit perfectly. does the same go for the saint laurent’s ?

No definetly not! I ordered a 43 myself first, had to send them back and get a 44! dont do the same mistake!

Honestly: get the common projects. Something about them is magical. If there was just one shoe for the rest of my life it would be a white pair of cps. Currently I own a white achillies low pro, the normal achillies low and the blush ones in the video :)

Just basic Ikea ones but I upgraded to some wooden ones. They are especially good when you wear ur shoes barefoot! Reason being is they absorb moisture :)

@@jeanli Well they don’t look that bad then. I’ve been thinking about getting a pair but was wasn’t to pleased with the quality. After hearing how much you’ve worn yours they have held up pretty good!

@@markbaz Nah super easy. U know the Bleach for hair, you just use that. Basically u are trying to get out the yellow of the rubber. For good oxidation u need some Sun rays as well. Use hair dye bleach, put it on the shoe and leave it in the sun. Easy! :)

There is stitching inside BUT It does not seem to connect the outsole with the rest of the shoe :)

Thank you for this video! I’m so torn between the both of them and really glad I found your review to compare. Now that you’ve had a bit more time with the Saint Laurent’s and not considering price, which do you prefer in terms of style, comfort and durability? I need help to decide :)

Aesthetic wise I think the common projects look better! Comfort wise: once each is worn in they are pretty comfy! Slight edge to the YSL tho cuz they are much lighter. Durability: Common projects! The upper leather might be a little better on the YSL but the common projects, maybe because they are heavier, have a thicker and sturdier sole! The YSL already have a lot of healdrag.. I think you will be happier with the common projects! I actually found myself shopping for them again and again. I found the white pair on matches fashion for 20% off and was tempted... but then I was like... i dont need them when I have the YSL... so yeh I skipped. One thing to consider tho: They Common projects sole is rly sticky, great grip. That is not good for me when I got out and dance.. So if u want to take the shoes to the club the YSL might be a little better :D

Jean Saw This was really helpful! I did see the CPs on sale and was tempted but I’m dragging my feet (pun intended) because I saw the YSLs on a girl yesterday and they looked so fresh. Also if I may say, before you repurchase the CP, that the reason they have a sturdier sole and are heavier may be because there is a metal shank in the sole. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJ-9hKx6lrmqkNU I watched this and I’m questioning life. I just wish someone would cut up the Andy’s lol.. video idea once you’re done with them ;)

Jean Saw I think the leather quality on YSL is better, Napa leather isn’t usually recommended for shoes since it’s so delicate.. but I do love a pointier shoe.

@@NaTa-bh8wb I saw that video as well.. :D The studier sole also has to do something with the thickness of the sole (the cps are at least 1cm thicker) so when there is healdrag u wont see it as much of a problem as with the Andy's. Honestly yeah, the nappa leather is more delicate but still, it is good leather and very sturdy. I know that the guy mentioned in his video that it isnt the best quality of leather... yes, but in all honesty I am not expecting THE BEST leather in a 360 euro sneaker. This leather ages very well, the shoe has great construction. I think they are still worth the money very very much. Also I think they have a reason for everything. I actually think he showed that the shoe is quite premium. I dont understand why he said Cheap posing as premium...
