I completely agree with you! I have no clue what YSL was thinking doing this, they should have kept the original design next to the East-West. I also wouldn't be happy having paid full price for an item you think is a classic only to learn later that they have discontinued it. Hope you'll enjoy your beauties for a long time to come!

Funny I was looking to see if anyone had even purchased this bag in the past year and not many unboxing on it. The price is up there now. I can see why they revamped it. Not fond of the new style.

Hi Iris 🤗 I’m so glad you have your original Loulou bags and still love them, I think I definitely am still more of a fan of the original compared to the new east west style. I also went to see the new bag in person and it was luxurious but I wouldn’t say better. Someone also pointed out to me that the design of the new mini loulou looks very similar to the super mini Gucci marmont bag and now I can’t unsee it 🙈 Thanks for sharing your perspective Iris because I understand exactly where you’re coming from ❤

Hi Alana ❤ Omg now that you mentioned that about the toy Loulou I totally see it 😮 they probably tried to make the Loulou bag more similar to the marmont style! Not taking in consideration that the Loulou has been a lot of people’s favorite for its unique style and shape. I don’t know why, but I have a feeling that they will bring it back later 🤔 I could be wrong! Unless this new bag is as loved as the original style.
