Also included are the famous Bach Chaconne, Paganini Caprice 24 and the Franck Sonata.

HOLY GODDAMN MOTHER OF GLORY I am just speechless. May I ask you this: how satisfying is it to play this piece unequivocally FLAWLESS?? Always been in awe of this piece ever since Your Lie in April but the sheer attitude and confidence that you emanate with your pristine, yet gorgeous tone is killing me. I had heard and loved this S-S piece for violin and orchestra or violin and piano, but just discovered versions for clarinet, flute and this beautiful cello rendition by Timothy Hopkins. If you put enough work in, anything should be possible somehow. The question is does it make sense. I think this Saint-Saens can sound great on the cello (even though it was a real challenge). But I think there are some pieces that are dedicated to one instrument exclusively. E.g. I have heard fantastic performances of cello suites on the double bass. However, I could not imagine a bass player performing the Dvorak concerto. See my point?

Very good. I used to be a professional musician (if you consider classical bass musicia :). What is your guess on how many cellists play like you? I heard yoyo play 24th caprice and Id ratger hear you play, yoyo smashes his fingers and uses bad technique sometimes
