Presenting a new series! I thought it would be cool to show you all some classic pieces accompanied by the score-with my theremin fingering positions included-in real-time. Had to start with The Swan of course, and I will be making more of these from pieces I’m currently teaching in my lessons 🦢
Hope this is helpful for all of you learning out there 😊

Brilliant! I'm guessing you're the only one who has even attempted a piece like that. Well done!

Clara Rockmore kinda made it her signature piece. There's a pretty good recording of it on KZbin if you search for it. She plays it an octave higher for some reason.

This is my favourite classical piece and you nailed it, not one iota of the originals beauty is lost. Been a fan since I came across your ecstasy of gold rendition.

I've been waiting for the day that you would record this song, its so beautiful :D Thank you so much. It is clearly a difficult piece to sightread just from watching you play it but you did a wonderful job.

This was awesome. Really love seeing the fingering positions too. I used to do something similar with slide positions when I was learning trombone. Makes me want to apply that to my own (hobby) theremin playing as well!

Perfect! Carolina, you nailed it. Always good to play from sheet music, that way, we know for sure that the notes are correct and the music is played exactly as intended by the composer. Well done. Well done indeed.

Interestingly enough most Baroque composers (and some other modern ones) left parts of the score unwritten or detailed very sparingly so the players could improvise and show their mastery and add somehow their own personal style to the piece. So it isn't always the case you ought to play the piece exactly as it is written.

Hello Carolina :) I love the sound of the theremin :) Also, I love doing Tai Chi. It occurs to me that a marriage of the two could be a lovely experience. So, I’m just putting this out to you as a request to consider making music that might fit the elegant slow flow of Tai Chi.
