I love this piece of music (it was the one that started my love for orchestral music) and I've been thinking about starting up lessons with the viola after finding my Great Great Grandfathers viola recently. So this was a lovely thing to see and hear, thanks for sharing it :D

I always thought this meant for a viola, not a violin... It uses mostly the lower notes of the violin, I like it better on the viola

I feel as if they made the song sound to light and happy. This song is supposed to represent the devil and his horde of skeletons throwing a secret party during the night and then going into a panic as day breaks.

That first part, before the famous Eb and Ab hang notes was waaay out of tune. Intonation was pretty good for the rest of the piece though. Tone on the staccatos use some work though.
