Shannah D. It's beautiful. It is powdery, but it blends. It does feel like it's goes away quick. But it is a shit ton of glitter and shimmer. To me its a complimentary pallette. Kind of not worth the money, but im glad I have it and I do love it. It's also stunning.

I want it soo bad too, but I can't justify buying it :( I've already got loads of nude palettes, and I know I would never use the blue, yellow, purple, green or pink shades in the palette. So I just don't think it's worth it to buy the entree thing for the red/orange shades. :(

If you ever go to Ireland, I highly recommend visiting the Burren, because the Burren Perfumery is a dream. You get to watch a master mix a perfume, and then make your own. There's also a complementary tea room and a garden you can visit. I really think you'd love it! 🙈

It's Black Friday my bean-an-tigh suggested we go there when we all rented a tour bus from Cararoe to the Cliffs of Moher. It was excellent! Definitely a highlight of the trip. 100% would recommend and would go again (especially since I've almost used all my perfume :'( )

Justine Simpson You definitely should! You can get there from London within a day or two, I think. The Burren is only about 4-5 hours from Dublin, which again is only about 5-6 hours via ferry to London. If my dad and I can drive from Ottawa to Toronto, have dinner and enjoy a 4 hour concert, and drive back to Ottawa in a single day, you can definitely make that trip over a bank holiday weekend xD In any case, I really hope you can go visit the perfumery! It was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend!

High end shadows tend to be a little powdery but because that way they are more pigmented and blendable so if they doesn't have too much kick up it's actually a good thing!

I have this. Pigmented as it is, it'll be forever before I hit pan. On that note, I carefully and slowly apply the brush to the shades to minimize fallout. I have Sinner. It's my new favorite perfume. It reminds me of the cologne my dad wears.

I love this palatte. I got it about a month ago. Have done some fun color combos. My fav is using the purples with the reds. (Not bad for a 58-yr old grandmother) I will do that combo again, now that I just colored my hair violet. Have fun with this palatte. Xoxo

Me too but not too much lemon because I think some end up smelling like washing up liquid haha 😂 lemon an zest can be a little over used for many things. I like fruity smells too though. I can't stand grandma smelling perfumes that is over done I don't understand even why anyone would want to smell like that. But each to their own an all :)

i'm a lot like you when it comes to makeup pallets i don't go crazy for it when one comes out but this one just spoke to me i love the packaging i love the colors and when i saw they only had one left at my sephora i knew it was meant to be and the gold does look really beautiful on you maybe for an Egyptian makeup look

I understand completely what you mean about the scent of more mainstream perfumes. I’ve been making my own essential oil mixtures for over three decades - it sounds like you prefer an essential oil, zero alcohol. As far as dirt, I love the smell! Try vetiver essential oil. To me, it smells like NOLA cemeteries & I love it! Nice review, have fun with your palette! 😘⚡️🦇Jet

I think taking to account the price per gram, the KVD pallettes a super reasonable. I have the Metal Matte and Shade and Light from her, and love them both. Have you heard of Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab? They have the greatest scents! They seem tailor made for you imo.

Omg you would LOVE Black Tulip or Indigo by Nest. It’s a perfume line at Sephora that specializes in weird scents that aren’t the typical scents, you’d probably like Indigo more. The others are a little too sweet and they do make them in roller balls :)

Yellow in the inside corner of the eyes, middle of the lid use orange then outside of the eye use blue then blend a tad. Make it look like fire.

Loved your review. I was a fan of the perfumes when they first came out and was disappointed with Sinner as well. Surprisingly I found I wore Saint more and got tons of compliments. I would sometimes mix them, so you might try that. I was sad when they were discontinued and begged for them to come back. Now I am addicted to the Nirvana collection by Elizabeth and James and they mix well too! I've been wearing Amethyst a lot lately which is tobacco, honeysuckle and cedar. Tobacco as a scent note used to turn me off, but it has grown on me.

I bought this palette as soon as I could and I'm totally in love with it! The packaging is just stunning. You described it perfectly, the array of colors really inspire me to get creative. I'd like to try to center a look around every color to encourage me to get out of my comfort zone. I also quite enjoy the Sinner perfume, personally. I didn't like the Saint one (smelled like every other department store floral perfume to me). I only own two perfumes though, so I don't have much experience in picking them.

I used to have a perfume oil called Graveyard Dirt and it was lovely. It smelled like fresh turned earth, dead flowers and some kind of mossy wetness. I wish I could remember who made it.
