I love these weird, odd history books! I had no interest in the Revolutionary War before but now I'm dying to read this book. Looking forward to seeing a few more of these odd books on your year end list!

I agree, I immediately understood the writer to be talking about Covid when you finished reading that letter. Infuriating junk.

Glad I'm not the only one! I had a few people email to say I was being paranoid -
