Yes, exactly. She wrecked lives of three husbands plus of the one that got away. And from "to him I was worst whom I loved best" I'm supposed to understand that she loved Kjartan. I'm very much hazy about the degrees of the worst where Bolli and Kjartan are concerned... and this saving Bolli's blooded clothes and demanding vengeance for him, that's the fattest red herring I've ever seen, and I kind of thought Thord was her darling. His drowning certainly was a big tragedy to Olaf the Peacock's family.

No one else does the Saga of Greenlanders this year, to the best of my knowledge.

I have a newly edited version of the Keneva Kunz translation which I think is pretty good. I just read an appalling awkward translation of Egil's Saga to compare it to and it does a lot better on the verse fragments particularly.
