I'm a 59 year old WHITE woman and I never knew that there was any discrimination in rap music. But, again, I never care what people think about me anyway. I wish we had internet in the days when I was a kid and did my own music, in the attic, where no one heard me. It was a type of rap that I did in the early 1970s, but I thought it was only for me. Rap appeals to people who feel the pain and anger and understand (empathize) with the message. Privileged people tend to not understand and condemn what they do not comprehend. No better bond, than the bond of getting someone and their real thoughts and expressions. This is the first song that I listened to of Mesus, so far. At first glance, I thought you were going to be a white supremacist. But, that is another prejudiced, preconceived impression that I am glad I ignored, while giving the song a chance. Going to check out another video. Thanks for the great beat and awesome message!!! From an old lady that you might not feel should be listening. (My son got mad at me in the 90s when he was young and saw that I had a Notorious B.I.G. cd in my glove compartment of my car. He yelled at me, "Mom, you CANNOT listen to the music that I like!!!". @@croc313 yes I'm completely aware it's going to take much much more than that but it is in my opinion unbelievable start if we make this merchandise worldwide we going to be not only wearing something will be leaving for what we stand for We Stand against racism will actually be spreading anti-racism message and it will be catchy for children so new Generations will be in the mindset of anti-racism so therefore that's why I think it's such an amazing idea to spread this and make it as cheap as possible so it's affordable for everybody who is is willing to spread the message that racism needs to stop.
@IrenaDeacon5 жыл бұрын
@silverscorpion73 let's first clear the air I'm not white I am mixed race therefore very much anti-racism and what I have said there's nothing to do with Eminem. Even though I can tell you that Eminem has uplifted so many black rappers grew up with black people in braced black culture and he praises old school black rappers he always says how grateful he is to them and he was inspired by all black people he respect the culture and he's not the guest. Only racist people say music genre can be black or white. A white man invented basketball in tennis but nowadays we have predominantly black people dominating basketball because they are f****** talented than they deserve to be in basketball and nobody is calling them guests also in tennis we have Serena Williams as an example of the best tennis player female ever nobody is calling her guest. So if white people are not calling even Michael Jackson a guest plus they praise Michael Jackson and I do as well as a hispanic woman why are you being so angry and defensive as if somebody is stealing something from you? We should have knowledge where hip hop came from and if we decide to embrace it we shouldn't be called guests in hip hop whether we are white or hispanic. what is your actual problem honestly with his hoodie that says hip-hop is a culture not a colour because those words are clear fight against racism just like this particular song. regarding what you saying about giving credit to Nick Cannon the only creditor can give him it's stability credit because it was stupid of him to go against them in them and in all of his this is he probably has like 10 good Rhymes maximum and Eminem didn't even have to respond because other people did it for him and the name is way above that level Nick Cannon was chasing clout he's not a rapper simple as that. I give credit where credit is due also so if you search video clips on KZbin you going to realise that your favourite rappers rapper is actually Eminem because they spoke about it I'm talking about Legends and hip-hop worth of the black race. only racist people will discredit and undermine Eminem is one of the greatest of all times in the game. what is so wrong about this hoodie? how would you feel if somebody made a hoodie saying white man invented basketball but you are all welcome

Just like almost everybody else here, I never even heard of this dude's name before he dropped this shit alongside tags that are guaranteed to attract major immediate attention. Straight 🔥, my guy! I'm a white male myself who has never once had a problem admitting where the roots of my favorite styles of music (rock/metal, hip-hop) stem from, and I can assure you, the artist's skin color had absolutely nothing to do with the creation of either music genre. I can't believe that there aren't more people who find it alarming that even though we're in 2020, we still have individuals that'll pick apart a word like "fetch" (looking at you, Lord Jamar), for example, in a piss poor attempt at twisting the word's main priority so that it now assists his side of an argument of a fictitious race war he's willing to harmfully create just to try and make Eminem look bad. Dude ought to feel like complete shit for being such a selfish, sore loser with no talent that's willing to slow the progress of making racism a thing of the past simply because himself, along with a team he put together, couldn't get one valid diss in on Em, despite releasing countless "diss songs", lol. "Eminem and his fans better stop picking on me or else I'm gonna get my cousin to beat him up!" Lmao, talk about an "Elvis Pussley", lol. Fuck you and Suge Knight. This Mesus dude tore your ass apart, Nick Pussley, and he didn't have to hop on that racist bullshit train you've been circling the track on. Mesus gained a lot of new fans with this, and he deserves it. Dude actually spits with passion, vs. someone like Nick Pussley...he just swallows, lol.

Without Black people there would never be HipHop culture. Since what HipHop is, is a struggle against the racist system, to fight the oppression of racism. That Culture comes from Black People. White people being the cause of the struggle & as oppressors have no right to claim it as their own. The idea of it is repulsively preposterous. Culture is to People, what Fruit is to Tree.

Gaticus X I don’t think no one is claiming it as their on. That’s where you’re misinformed. And to say only blacks have suffered oppressions from only whites is truly taking away from anyone enduring oppression. The same thing you’re fighting against is the same thing you’re standing up for. It’s like me saying golf is a white mans sport and tiger can’t claim to be the goat of a white mans game. See how asinine that sounds. Or even mj with basketball.

Never liked nick. Never thought he was funny, couldn’t rap, he had the Hollywood look, so they found a spot for him. Must of had connects, because nobody that un talented gets that many chances. Mesus Career is doing fine. It’s called coming up. And from the looks of it, he has a decent fan base. I don’t feel this is racist at all my guy, are you listening? Any color, for going anywhere, for anything, shouldn’t be judged just by they’re color. Why would a racist say that? Just because he’s white and talking about race doesn’t mean he’s racist, just like if any other race in the world, talking about race doesn’t make them racist. It all Depends on the content. But this wasn’t racist. maybe you just don’t understand the message. These are conversations we need to have. Open your mind some, try and get past your first reaction, and listen to what he’s saying.
@AnimalEar4ull5 жыл бұрын
Okay, never said nick was broke. He’s been on tv forever. Mesus is doing fine, doesn’t mean he has more money. Don’t know why that even matters when we’re talking about racism, but ok. Do you think your comments help or hurt race relations? If you felt this was racist, simply point out whats racist about the song?

So if nick calls Eminem a “racist” does that mean that nick is racist against “Eminem “?🤔 dissing em because the color of his skin is a contradiction! Weren’t people saying Eminem was a racist for calling trump “Orange”? But it’s okay when nick dissing em because he’s white? Makes no sense! This racism seems to be one sided! Not right! Hip-Hop and Art does Not have a color!!! This song is fire 🔥 great job!
