This is the main problem, Loomis wants to tie Carr into the hiring of a the new HC. No young HC want DC as their QB. This is about Loomis trying to save money by keeping Carr and these guys aren't having it. I don't think McCarthy wants DC so the only choice is Rizzi or the loser from the Giants because they are the only ones who will agree to keep DC as a starter. The only reason why Cam Jordan is happy about keeping Rizzi, he won't be traded if Carr stays who is the biggest Carr supporter Cam stays. If Rizzi become HC a rebuild will take 7 years if Carr remain on the roster and I don't think Rizzi will last past 2 years. I hear the Eagles OC might be the next HC, then he's the only passy who is willing to work with DC

I can’t even lie, if anyone takes this position, you’ve got a lot to lose and you’re putting your career at risk. The team is not good so if Brady took this job and we sucked, that goes under Brady’s record as a losing season? Who has faith in Carr and our squad as currently constructed? Kind of makes sense to sign Rizza to a 1 year deal, and clean house next season with old contracts along with drafting well. This will make the Saints more attractive and at least gives whoever takes this job a “fair” chance at success.
