I don't know if that is entirely accurate because the defense was showing improvement in the first 3 games under Rizzi, but yes the last 3 games have definitely been terrible/horrible/bottom feeding!

yes, the defense really couldn't blame injuries on their collapse. One of the most disappointing aspectds of the Saints season for sure. The other is the injuries to all ..and I do mean all...the Saints offensive stars. Actually the defense started their decline last year and I blame them for our losing a couple of games.

seen a lot of comments online about Loomis and I hope they make changes there. Something has to be done with this team but I don't have high hopes tbh.. We're not gonna be like last years Texans or this year's Commies going last to first and we'd be lucky to make the playoffs in 3 years. I now doubt Rizzi is gonna make it although it's not all on him. I feel we need fresh faces all around especially on defensive coordinator. Does Loomis have the skills for this rebuild? who knows but i don't have confidence in him at all

I was one of those guys, Cam Jordan thanks for the good times but you trash now you gotta go, THEN the man puts up 4 sacks since Rizzi took over and multiple TFLs and like wait a minute... Cam may still have some run. Pay Cut required if he stays though!!!

Same. My guess is Cam gets some kind of restructure this season that looks similar to what Demario and Tyrann did last year. Folks will freak out because it'll be shaped like an extension, but realistically it'll be built into the budget for the dead cap hit for 2026 (and he'll probably just retire). It'll allow you to not restructure Demario and Tyrann, so those contracts came come off the books in 2026 as well, and you'll just have to figure out Carr and Taysom dead cap hits at that point if you choose to move on.

What irks me about the Saints is they think they are the smartest guys in the draft room because they found late round gems in the past so they do stupid crap in the 1st: Davenport, Turner and Penning. Huge players from smaller schools and all were projects known before they drafted them. Project players are for later rounds.

Is anyone shocked or surprised? Did the media have you thinking we had a good team prior to week 1? Did you fall for it? I definitely did not, I predicted 6-11 ..I couldn't go 5-12 because I'm a fan..I can't even say 5-12.
