Malcolm is always a genius when it comes to composing for Saints Row. This feels brand new, while still bearing some instrumentation from the older Saints themes. The sidechained phaser from 3-4, the choral arrangements, and the trap-esque drums from 3 & 4 (the track "King Me" specifically), and the deep sliding bass from 3's theme all make a return. It's pure magic paired with the horns, whistle, and guitar.

I hate how the reboot miserably failed to re-capture the essence of Saints Row and how it ended up being some generic wannabe modern wild west BS. At least in Stilwater and Steelport we had the attitude of a Saint, appealing allies, somewhat worthy foes and W A T E R.

Im a og and I think the game is fun. It might be because I went in with low expectations. I think the issue is that people are going in expecting something like saints row 2 or 3, if you go in expecting that then you'll be severely disappointed, I went in expecting something similar yet very different and got exactly that. I'm having fun, I don't think the story is on par with saints row 2 or 3 but I still find it enjoyable
