Maybe listen to the fanbase and don't let your employees call them terrorists. That would do wonders. Nothing wrong with a new cast, but at least make them realistic for the nature of the series, real criminals wouldn't care less about student loans if they even had any at all. Here's an idea, take the ending of Gat out of hell that recreates the world at the expense of the current lineup of characters, and have Gat mentor a new group to fill the shoes of the originals. Keep the location you used even, just give them actual personalities that doesn't repel more people than it attracts.

it's crazy trailer, but it's cinematic and also in last trailer before it, we seen, how shit gameplay is. There is no this crazy physics from original Saints Row, cars are shit, and enemies are bullet sponges. And also generic teen design. This is not level of Saints Row series.

After awesome, testosteronic, ironic and mature SR3 and SR4 this looks like passionless, grey, boring even packed with more action. Characters are boring, I don't feel any charisma. They're all looks like dead fish - no personality, no emotion, no testosteron or estrogen. The game is NOT sexy, not attractive. A faceless GTA-like clone. Not a sexy\attractive game = no buy. Dislike. Gone playing SR3 remake.
