This was our last win vs the chiefs in 2008. They beat us three times in 2012 score was 27-24 in overtime, 2016 score was 27-21, and 2020 score was 32-29 vs Patrick Mahomes and the imperfect chiefs.

How did we have the highest scoring offense and go 7-9 that year?

8-8 and that’s because their were several games that were lost by special teams or defense that year. The one for me that comes to mind is the Vikings MNF game. Had our kicker made his kicks we crush the eventual NFC north champs

Yeah the 2008 saints were the best 8-8 team that year they could’ve easily went 12-4 or 13-3 but they made up for it the following year
