Actually, yes, Matt Ryan could've surpassed 5,000 yards if he hadn't sat out in the 4th quarter of games and threw as many times as Brees did. Brees threw almost 150 more passes than Matt did. If we adjust Matt's numbers to give him as many attempts as Brees, Matt would've passed for 6,230 yards. Yes, that is the correct number mathematically. If Matt threw the ball as much as Brees, he would've passed for over 6,000 yards based on his averages. Don't believe me? Do the math yourself and you'll see.

(NFL RECORD) first QB to throw TD pass to 13 DIFFERENT Receivers in a single season (NFL RECORD) Clinched his team 2nd seed and a first round bye he beat carr and rodgers h2h this season did better against seahawks defense and broncos defense than brady did. even after missing 4 games, brady still played two games where he didn't score a single td. matt ryan also didn't go missing like aaron rodgers did in the first half of the season. Matt Ryan put up all these numbers facing the toughest schedule in NFL and about 4 or 5 different elite defenses this year. and to all those people saying "it's cuz of julio". Julio wasn't even used for half of the season. just a couple games. even on a PER GAME BASIS, Matt ryan has been doing better than brady and rodgers. the only argument for brady over matt ryan is patriots record (which brady wasn't even a part of for 25% of the season so no) if anyone is patriots mvp, it's bellicheck.

Marcus Jackson green bay has a bend but not breaj kind of defense which is actually good enough to make a playoff run. If they can come up big in the red zone and hold atlanta to three, i feel Rodgers would make them pay for that. For anyone wondering what happened in the 2nd half, the Falcons played conservatively to run the clock down and prevent injuries (everyone needs to be healthy going into the playoffs). They were running the ball more and playing prevent defense

I went to this game as a Saints fan with my mom. She had predicted two things about the future for both of these teams... 1.) She said Michael Thomas could be the best receiver in franchise history and one of the best in the league in the future (that’s now true wether you like it or not) 2.) She also said that she was impressed by the Falcons offense, but she noticed the Falcons began blowing the lead at the end of the game. She said she didn’t trust them with leads and basically said she wouldn’t be surprised if they blew a big lead to a more “quality” team in the playoffs. AKA 28-3. She is a wizard. Also Who Dat.

Shaun Diebel the falcons offensive preparation each week is amazing and I credit that to Kyle, along with his brilliant play calling in the redzone. Also the way they balance the 2 running backs. I give most credit to Shanahan.
