I think people here are not ubderstanding whats happening. Radhe's weakness is low scales and scales recognition. So, everytime he js trying to sing, team tammana are lowering the key which Radhe is not able to recognise and comprehend. Hence, his mother is singing those parts because her ears are very sharp in picking notes. In the last part, Tamanna unknowingly went into higher scale which is where Radhe is a true king. Hence, her fear because she is not good with high notes.

Exactly. I think people overly hate Tamanna and aren't seeing what's happening. She's got the edge, the command, and Radhe is losing the jugalbandi at this point. His mom comes in to challenge and people think Tamanna is being a jerk. She's not, its a jugalbandi and she's gotta go and answer the challenge, but the interesting thing is the Mohini uses the base words of "sajan more." Tamanna wins the round against Mohini and goes back to Radhe. With the word sajan planted she took it to "sajan bin aaye." If you see Shreya's expressions and Nikita Gandhi's singing in that part, there's not ego but a desperation to be seen. She loves Radhe but is made to feel small in front of him; but for the last year she humbled herself, went to school, built up her abilities and is sharing the same stage with him. She's looking for the validation he showed her in the earlier scenes where he said "khushi khushi haar jaaungaa." When she finishes that rendition she doesn't have the face of an ego mad person looking to gloat, but someone whose gave it her entire soul and effort all in a desperate plea to be seen by Radhe. Now to Radhe, when she starts he's surprised that she would go to those words, their words. In his next frame you can see the sadness and hurt because in many ways those words are the first time he expresses his love for her and reminds him of the unrequited nature of their relationship these past months. Then he shifts into anger and conviction as he grabs the mike and DigV puts some strong emphasis on "sajan" in a way the original lacks before launching a faster rendition that also is in a much higher scale which he knows is to her disadvantage. Shreya's expressions are amazing in this moment as she realizes Radhe doesn't understand what she was doing and she's back in her insecurity nightmare where Radhe makes her feel small. She's panicking but her band's support helps her and then as she gets to stage front she's starting to realize what Radhe is feeling. She matches him and sings "I'm waiting for you" reiterating she's wants his recognition. With the higher scale "Tu ghar aa mahi" Radhe is saying to stop all this back and forth and just come back to me. She tries to bring the scales lower again to stay in the race and Radhe answers and the jugal bandi goes back and forth. Radhe doesn't just beat her at her game, he specifically takes things into a scale he knows she can't reach, and he knows she'll have to try and will fail. Her voice cracks as he holds a high note. Cut to Mohini who looks shocked and troubled at his behavior. IF anyone is ego driven here its Radhe. The start of his closing sargam is definitive in singing and in acting Ritwik is just landing blows of an opponent whose already down. Tamanna is broken, and this dude just doesn't stop. Mohini closes the song singing, not "more ghar aa" BUT what sounds like "MOH ghar aa mahi." One translation of moh is delusion. His mom is literally telling him to bring his deluded self back home. Then the next shot of Ritwik you can see he's realized what he's done to her. He didn't just win, he against proved to the world that Tamanna can't sing well and especially not in front of him. Nandini and Mohini's reactions along with the score speak volumes to what Radhe just did. Hats off to every single person who worked on this. The music, direction, acting, it was all perfectly executed and to show such a range of emotions and a full narrative of their journey in the show in such a small time was amazing.

As females also we can reach high notes, it just needs a lot of practice. He might be singing at "peheli kaali" but with practice you can sing to upper limits. She was aware she doesn't have as much practice as Radhe. He completed the prayashchit.. He trained all his life of course he will reach those notes effortlessly. He reached to those notes to express himself better and unintentionally because he has that vocal range. If she is playing to her forte, queen Eli's music, he is playing to his "stable high notes". She shouldn't have complained because it is indeed a competition.

That is what I am talking about, with practice one can reach higher notes, if you sing more in "kharaj" you will broaden your range. These are technical terms, but coming back to two people from two different genders singing, Tamanna would not reach the exact note Radhe is at, but can reach near it, however it would again take a lotttttt of practice. Just one year in music school wouldn't cover that.

Nope, note how Mohini supports Radhey whenever he feels overwhelmed and gives him some time to come back to the groove. Tamanna noticed this the first time, and when Mohini did this the 2nd time Tamanna wanted to shut it right there. Mohini had mixed feelings, she knew Tamanna was going the dangerous path and didn't want things to be done as they were. She was afraid not for herself but concerned for Tamanna for sure. Radhey's elders' are very mature with deep understanding of relationships and life, but Tamanna and Radhey are not
