No words to express.... It is very similar to our country people who work to the Middle East. What a difficult life they have been lived in pardes. Very touchy song. Thanks to you guys for sharing this beautiful piece of memory. The people who work abroad and living alone without their family, I salute them. And remember there are people waiting in the country where you belong to. Take care Love from Bangladesh ❤️❤️

There's a song called "Shopno Jabe Bari Amar". It is about returning home. It's called the "Eid Anthem" because in BD people rush to their family back at the villages during Eid. So it's a much more hopeful song.

I have listened to this song at least a hundred times. It still brings tears to my eyes. I have left India in late eighties, at a time when there was not such a big support system for immigrants in the USA. I had to share a room with 3 guys of my age and from completely different cultures. I was ill and was not able to afford a doctor. My friends took care of me like my mom would have. I have never forgotten a single moment of those days. I have learned to love human beings without any other considerations of their identity! This song brings back memories that make me extremely happy though! Those days shaped up who I am today; a much better person who only cares about the qualities in other human beings and who knows that every misery, disappointment in life offers a great lesson to learn!
