The team i would play would be: Raya, Miles LS, Saliba, Kiwior, Tierney, Rice, Merino, Odegaard, Saka,Kai, Sterling. I would allow MLS to invert from RB and tierney to tuck into LCB (more of his natural position). it might also mean saka being less offective without the overlap but may allow us to see is we can work the LW side more.

By the time Arteta realizes he needs to start Nwaneri alongside Odegaard and Saka to add more creativity and chance creation, winning the league would have become a pipe dream. Is he underrating his ability because he's 17 years old? We are struggling to create a real threat against certain types of opposition. Nwaneri can pass, create chances, make driving runs, dribble, and shoot. Havertz's versatility, on the other hand, can make him do both defending from the left midfield and attacking the opposition box from the left wing, from either Saka's crosses to the far post or Nwaneri's through-balls in between defenders. Arteta should set up his team using the Scorpion formation with Rice protecting the back four and Partey/Merino supporting the attack.
