Thanks for this video. I have learned a lot about Nepal while studying the Kirat people. For your information, Lord Shiva is the God of Kiratas. Lord Shiva's original name is Paruhang in the Kirati language. God Shiva was originally a shaman of a Shamanistic religion followed by the Kiratis The Kirat (Sanskrit: किरात) is a generic term in Sanskrit literature for people who had territory in the mountains, particularly in the Himalayas and Northeast India and are Sino-Tibetan in origin. Kirati God Paruhang was taken into Hindu culture only when the Aryan people came into contact with the Kiratis after they arrived in Nepal. Once the Aryan people adopted Paruhang into Hindu culture he was given the Sanskrit name Shiva. Here's physical proof. Now, where do you think Lord Shiva's abode/home is? It is in Mt. Kailash, Himalayas. Kiratis are the aboriginal of the Himalayas. This is even purely mentioned in Vedic books. Lord Shiva carries a buffalo horn. (If you are not sure, check his photo) To the Aryan Khas people, anything that is associated with buffalo is taboo. But Kiratis eat buffalo meat. And the Kiratis also make use of buffalo horns to make musical instruments. A buffalo horn is blown at the start of the Kirati festival Sakela. Hindu Aryan Khas people blow the conch shells. They will never touch or associate anything with buffalo. Here's the proof from scholars who reveal Lord Shiv's identity. Dinesh Prasad Saklani said " It can be roughly asserted that Shiva-worship might have begun among the Kiratas in the mountainous regions of the Himalaya in pre-Vedic times, before the advent of Aryans. Shaivism, in some form, was the prevailing religion of the aboriginal Kiratas." - Ancient communities of the Himalayas, 1998 Shiv Kumar Tiwari said " The clear conception of Siva arose in the Upanisadic age. Siva has been, for the first time, explicitly mentioned as the Aryan god in the Svetasvatara Upanisad in the background of the Yoni-Linga relationship. There was never mention of Siva as an Aryan god in Rig Veda, the oldest text of Aryan". From here it can be ascertained that Siva was worshiped by the aboriginal Kirata before the advent of Aryan.” - Tribal roots of Hinduism, 2002 G.P Singh said, “Kiratas along with other tribes non-conforming to Vedic teachings was classified as Mleccha(barbarians) in many early texts, in a sense that they were destroyers of Aryan. Hence the Siva was named as a destroyer in the Hindu Trinity. " - The Kiratas in Ancient India, 1990 We know today that Lord Shiva was originally a shaman of a Shamanistic religion followed by the Kiratis. Hinduism expanded by incorporating indigenous religions into Hinduism. The concept of reincarnation, shared by Hinduism, allowed all indigenous Gods to reincarnate themselves in different forms of Hindu Gods. And yes, I have recognized by Nepali last name who the Kirat people are. Rai is one of the Kirat people. Others include limbu dhimal hayu thami chepang jirel magar sunuwar...etc etc and many more. Namaste. I will visit Nepal one day. Nepal is such a naturally beautiful country.

i do not know why people are saying bad things to Kirat in some nepali video. They should not disrespect kirat. do you know that kirat are descendants of lord shiva? yes kirat people are putra and putri of lord shiva. Kirat god is mahadev. Mahadev is kul devta of kirat. kiratis are descendants of lord shiva mahadev. And yes i don’t mind Kirats to be in political power if Kirati leaders, ministers can rebuild Nepal, give us justice and equality, provide us with security and other basic needs like electricity water. i am sick and tired of current system and current govt. of Nepal. i don't even have trust in them today. As for Kiratis, they should not only aspire to become mercenary gurkha soldiers or singers. Kiratis should now envision to work in rebuilding of Nepal. Kiratis should engage in politics and government jobs of Nepal. Honestly speaking we know the same bahun chettry ministers officials have been doing corruption again and again and again.In short they are incapable to lead and run the country. they always seems to make bad decision for Nepal. Because of these we all Nepalese are sufferings one way or the other. For example I am working in the Gulf country. what to do cause there is simply no jobs back home. Our government fail to create jobs. During the election time, I see common bahun chettry people vote these same corrupted officials and minsters to the post again because they want to see their own relatives and their own people capture the political power in Nepal. This is tragedy. This is a big mistake. Instead of removing these corrupted bahun chettry officials ministers from power, they are given the ministerial seat and power again. People of Nepal must understand this. we must now stop giving vote to the same corrupted bahun chettry ministers again. We must elect leaders from adivasi janajati dalits and madhesis to lead the country. i hope all common bahun chettry people give vote to adivasi janajati madhesis and dalit leaders.

Kiratis are strongly aware of patriotism, nationalism, integrity, indigenous heritage Peace nd prosperity of the country.. And please correct yourself first, hinduism is not kiratism, both r different like east or west direction, hindus started worshipping Kiratis ancestors Paruhang, Sumnima as siva, parbati .but some people don't have the courage to hear this bitter truth .about18th century when the vedic bramman like sankrachrya entered Nepal and came to know this fact, he changed their position n started teaching hinduism merging Kirati into vedic bramman religion later known as hinduism , ,so plz don't spread ur deases.
